Skip the $1,700 compressor.
The clutchless A/C compressor in these cars is a known weak point — and the official fix is the same expensive part again. ACBridge lets your car run a proven magnetic-clutch compressor instead. It plugs in at a single connector. No coding. No cutting. Reversible in minutes.

Same part
The official repair is replacing it with the identical unit — the one that just failed you.
Proven alt
A durable magnetic-clutch compressor exists and bolts on — the factory even fitted it to the same models. Your car just can't drive it. Until now.
The fix
Plug it in. That's the install.
STEP 1
Unplug the factory compressor connector (X13*1B).
STEP 2
Plug ACBridge inline — both ends click into the stock plugs.
STEP 3
Bolt the ground lug to the strut-tower stud. Done — about 10 minutes.
ACBridge drives the proven magnetic-clutch compressor (BMW donor family 64 52 6 994 082) from your car's factory controls. Potted, engine-bay-rated electronics. No fault codes, no coding session, and fully reversible — unplug it and the car is stock again.
Compatibility
Fits these cars.
